Award Categories

Fair and Progressive Employment Practices

The Fair and Progressive Employment Practices category recognises organisations with effective workplace and people practices, that proactively cultivate an inclusive culture and consciously build strong employee relations. These organisations are future-looking and constantly scan the external environment to assess and anticipate the potential impact on the business and workforce. The senior management in these organisations are strongly committed to the adoption of progressive HR policies and practices, and effectively manage employees from different backgrounds, experience and demographics to optimise business performance and achieve robust and synergistic outcomes.

Work-Life Excellence

The Work-Life Excellence category recognises excellence in work-life strategies that effectively maximise employee performance while helping them manage their work-life harmony. These organisations appreciate the business value in responding to employees’ work-life needs; ensure that the senior management, direct supervisors and employees have a long-term commitment to the organisation’s work-life strategies; and have demonstrated outstanding success in implementing work-life programmes and fostering a work-life friendly culture in the workplace.

Age Inclusive Practices

The Age Inclusive Practices category showcases organisations who have actively and effectively implemented age inclusive practices to build an age-diverse workplace, removing barriers to employment. These practices include the implementation of age inclusive norms. The result of implementing such practices is the enhancement of the competitiveness and productivity of the organisation, among other benefits.

Responsible Best Sourcing

The Responsible Best Sourcing category recognises organisations that extend fair and progressive practices to its extended workforce. They consider the employment practices of potential service providers during evaluation process, and safeguard the employment rights of its extended workforce. These organisations take measures to provide the extended workforce with a safe and inclusive environment to contribute positively towards the organisation.
